Jonny Polonsky's 4th full length record harkens back to his past as well as boldly forging ahead into new territory.

Polonsky's debut album, Hi My Name is Jonny, was a cult classic as soon it was released in 1996. Produced, written, performed and recorded entirely by Polonsky in his childhood home, The Other Side of Midnight echoes that DIY meets Prince aesthetic once again.

This time, instead of hiring super producer Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Rage Against the Machine) to handle mixing duties, he chose up-and-comer Dean Hurley to man the boards.

Dean has been working side by side with David L ynch on every one of his film and music projects since 2004.

Dean is not only David L ynch's main recording engineer, sound designer and music supervisor, he is also Lynch's co-writer and co-creator of the music for many L ynch music projects, including Chrysta Bell and Twin Peaks: The Return.

Hurley mixed The Other Side of Midnight at Asymmetrical Studios, the private recording studio owned and operated exclusively by David L ynch.
